Let’s All Get American Bandstands 60th Anniversary Into National and Local News Stories Campaign

Bandstand Diaries the Philadelphia Years by Arlene Sullivan

We are not aware of any recent feature stories in the Media on American Bandstand and its influence or popularity since it first aired on black and white television in 1957.

We want to change that. Certainly, fans like you don’t want American Bandstand to get lost in history…

YOU can help us create a publicity campaign to make national and local media aware of the importance and influence of American Bandstand to our lives, music, dance and fashion for the past 60 years. Plus, of course, the love, admiration and curiosity we still have for the Regulars, America’s first reality stars.

Share how American Bandstand affected or improved your life.

Mention anything that you loved, including your favorite show segments and which Regulars, songs and dances were your favorites.

End your post by mentioning your current city and state.

We will send your Facebook posts to a select number of national television shows (news and variety), magazines, radio shows, podcasts, lifestyle websites, etc… And if you have local media contacts, tell us.

Let the magic and music begin…
